Council approves preliminary 2027 levy

At its Sept. 14 meeting, the city council approved a preliminary 2027 budget and 2027 property tax levy totaling a 6.4% increase. Watch the meeting video.

The levy and budget reflect long-term financial planning, align with community priorities identified in surveys and ensure continued high-quality services amid rising personnel and infrastructure costs. The preliminary levy sets the maximum allowable increase, and the final budget and levy will be brought to city council in December 2026.
