The Brightwood force main replacement project will improve the sanitary sewer system on Oakland Road between Wayzata Boulevard and Oakways Street. Construction activity will also occur on the Linner Road cul-de-sac. Work is set for the summer of 2025.
Oakland Road will be closed to through traffic between Wayzata Boulevard and Oakways Street for the duration of the construction. Access to and from properties withing the construction zone will be maintained between Wayzata Boulevard east to Oakland Road. Traffic will not be allowed to pass through the entire construction zone. All properties on Oakways Street and Brightwood Drive will use Oakland Road over Interstate 494 for access during the duration of the project. Properties Adjacent to the Linner Road cul-de-sac may experience brief disruptions, but access should largely be maintained throughout the project.
