Project surveying is set to begin in the next few weeks. Surveying will be conducted by WSB, the city's engineering consultant. Surveying is usually completed from the street, but there may be times when survey teams may need to work in yards, parking lots and driveways. Underground utilities will be marked with paint or flags. Please do not disturb these until the survey crew has completed its work.
Following the completion of surveying, staff will begin a preliminary design and project schedule. Expect an informational open house to discuss the project in further detail in 2026.
The city's engineering division mailed out a newsletter this week outlining the survey procedure and providing a map for the proposed project area.
