Intersection of Ridgedale Drive and Cartway Drive

The City of Minnetonka is preparing for street improvements along Ridgedale Drive from Cartway Lane to Plymouth Road (County Road 61) and Cartway Lane from Ridgedale Drive to Plymouth Road (County Road 61).

The project includes improvements to the pavement, curb, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, utility castings, traffic signals, signs and pavement markings.

Traffic Impacts

During construction, there will be traffic control in the area, which may include periods of lane shifts, flagging, closures, and detours. Residential and business access will be maintained. Please follow construction signs, watch for traffic pattern changes and drive carefully through construction areas.

    Improvements include:

    • Mill and overlay
    • Repairs to damaged curb and sidewalks
    • New pedestrian ramps
    • New utility castings
    • Improved traffic signals
    • Updated pavement markings

    The project is expected to be complete by mid-October.

    Although these projects are in different neighborhoods of the city, the scope of work is similar. These projects will be bid as a single contract.

Staff will be present to answer questions and explain the details of the project. If you cannot attend the meeting, contact Engineering Project Manager Mitch Hatcher by phone or email.
