Scenic Lane South storm sewer improvements project

The City of Minnetonka is preparing for the Scenic Lane South Storm Sewer Improvement Project located near the intersection of Scenic Lane South and Scenic Lane North.

This project includes:

• Installation of storm sewer pipes and structures
• Improvement of drainage and water quality treatment
• Restoration and vegetation establishment

This work is being completed in advance of the city’s 2026 Mill and Pave project.

Project schedule

Construction is scheduled to begin in late June or early July and is expected to last a few weeks, with final restoration and project completion in August.

Construction access will be from Scenic Lane South. During construction, there will be minimal traffic impacts. Scenic Lane South may be reduced to one lane temporarily to allow staging and construction activities. The contractor will provide traffic control as necessary. Access for residents will be maintained throughout the project.

Please follow construction signs, watch for traffic pattern changes and drive carefully through construction areas.

Will I be assessed?

No. The City of Minnetonka does not assess for these improvements. The project is funded through the city’s Stormwater Improvement Fund.
