The City of Minnetonka will be reconstructing Glen Moor Park following the proposed street improvement project in the Kinsel Neighborhood. The park will be impacted during a street, trail and utility reconstruction project in 2027 for the Kinsel Neighborhood, which includes streets north and east of Glen Lake.

The park design process is meant to guide improvements that are in alignment with current needs and desires suitable for a neighborhood park like Glen Moor Park. Neighborhood parks are meant to provide recreation within walking and biking distances, generally considered up to a half-mile in distance. Amenities are generally smaller in scale, do not require substantial parking needs and are suitable within a quiet residential neighborhood setting.

Park Use Surveying Complete

Thank you to all who completed the survey. Through thoughtful engineering, the street reconstruction is unlikely to significantly change the existing park features. Impacts to the park will include construction storage, and full repair will be performed after construction is completed.
