The City of Minnetonka is preparing design work for the Libb’s Lake Bridge Replacement Project located over the channel between Libb’s Lake and Gray’s Bay.
This bridge was originally constructed in 1969 and is reaching the end of its service life. This project includes the replacement of the bridge, roadway and associated utilities.
Preliminary design has begun for the bridge replacement. Completion of the design is planned for the end of 2026, at which time the City of Minnetonka will apply for state funding.
Will I be assessed for this project?
No. The City of Minnetonka does not assess for these improvements. The project will be funded through the city’s Street Improvement Fund and/or potential state grant funding.
