Minnetonka City Council will be asked to approve a resolution for the construction of the Minnetonka Boulevard Trail project at Monday’s meeting. The project includes a top-priority trail segment between Tonkawood Road and the Marsh along the north side of Minnetonka Boulevard.
The council will meet at 6 p.m. in the second-floor council chambers at 14600 Minnetonka Blvd.
Approval of the resolution would accept the trail plans and specifications and allow the project to be advertised for bids.

As part of CenterPoint Energy’s gas main replacement along Minnetonka Boulevard, Minnetonka Drive will be closed between Williston Road and Westmark Drive beginning Oct. 20. The closure is expected to last for five days (weather dependent).

The western entrance of Sussex Drive is now open.
As part of CenterPoint Energy’s gas main replacement along Minnetonka Boulevard, the eastern intersection of Sussex Drive will be closed beginning Monday, June 23. The intersection is scheduled to open June 30. Please visit CenterPoint Energy’s Website to learn more about the project.
